The debut album by LV band Well Tempered Madness is out now and available via all streaming services.
Released by Vegas Records, Well Tempered Madness was recorded at the Hide Out in August, 2023 (with additional recording at The Mission) and features artwork by Reg Mombassa.
Based in Las Vegas, Well Tempered Madness is the brainchild of guitarist Steve Fansler and is inspired by the many genres of music he has played, his travels and the artists that he has worked with. Two years ago, the band played their first live gigs and the album was recorded in2023.

Fansler has been based in Las Vegas since 1999 performing up and down 'the Strip' and toured North America and abroad. From 2003-2016, he served as music director and guitarist for the group Exposé. He has also worked with many well-known artists in all genres including Clark Terry, Ed Shaughnessy, Louis Belson, Dr. Billy Taylor, The Fortunes, QuincyJones, Wayne Newton, Lola Falana and Hanna Barbera Cartoons.
The eight tracks that comprise the debut Well Tempered Madness album are composed by
Stephen Fansler, and features him on guitar and vocals. Uli Geissendoerfer, a German American pianist, composer and educator living and working in the U.S. since 1987, plays. piano, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond, and synths. Tom Bolton, who studied music at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles and has twice been inducted into The Kansas Music Hall of Fame, plays drums. Jeanette Jurado, a member of the multi-platinum group Exposé, handles vocals on the album tracks "FOMO", "Everything Changes" and “The Chase”. The rhythm section is rounded out by Mike Merritt on bass and Jose "Pepe" Jimenez on percussion. The album was engineered by Luis Pacheco and mixed and mastered by Pat Thrall.

Steve studied Jazz, Music Theory, Composition and Arranging in college before
hitting the road full time. After hundreds of nights playing the most popular venues
in the midwest, he made his way to Los Angeles where he performed and recorded
with a wide range of groups including Avant Shant (Warner Brothers) and Downbeat
New Artist of the Year Tony Guerrero. He later moved to Branson, MO having his own
jazz show at Tony Orlando's Yellow Ribbon Theater where he caught the eye
of Entertainment Legend Wayne Newton and was hired as his guitarist. Steve relocated
to Las Vegas in 1999 where he performed up and down the Strip and toured North America and abroad. From 2003-2016 Steve served as Music Director and Guitarist for the Multi-Platinum group Exposé. Uli Geissendoerfer - Piano & Keyboards
Uli is a German-American pianist, composer and educator living
and working in the U.S. since 1987. In 2009 he moved from his spiritual home in
New York to Las Vegas working as musical director for Cirque du Soleil's
Viva Elvis show. Uli also teaches jazz at UNLV and the Nevada School of the Arts
and has won numerous national and international awards including 1st place in
the 2015 Downbeat Music Awards. In 2017 Uli founded Vegas Records which at
present time consists of 18 Album releases. Some of the artists Uli has worked with include Blood Sweat & Tears, Leslie Uggams, David Cassidy, Tito Puente, Wynton Marsalis, Brandon Fields and Scott Henderson.

Tom started his professional career playing with his father's band - Von Bolton and the Magnificent Seven. He studied music at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles and entertained on cruise ships from 1988-1992. Tom has twice been inducted into The Kansas Music Hall of Fame with South of the Tracks in 2015 and The Elk River Band in 2017. He continues to be the first-call drummer in the Midwest playing with countless bands and entertainers in all genres of music.

Jeanette Jurado - Vocals
Jeanette Jurado is a member of the Multi-Platinum group Exposé. She was the lead singer for many of their songs, including their three biggest hits; "Come Go with Me", "Point of No Return" and "Seasons Change". She has also worked as an actress, playing Rosie Hamilton of Rosie and The Originials in the movie, My Family (Mi Familia), where she sang a remake of their 1960s hit, Angel Baby. Jeanette is also a songwriter, and continues to perform with Exposé as well as other groups as time allows.
